I can't believe the children in 5.6 managed to get my blog address! I got a shock out of my life when Didier shouted and pointed at me so excitedly saying, "Miss Lin, I saw your blog!" Well, since the Andersonians would be reading this, i think they would be very happy seeing this post about the racial harmony celebrations! In this post, i would like to say about Racial Harmony in modern times.
Today we learnt about treating all as equal. There should be no distinction in skin colour, religion or language as all our blood is red. We are all equally important and that each of us have to respect one another. Not only as an individual, also as have to respect their culture and religion. There are many religions in the world, but all leads to the same goal which is Goodness in Character. No religion teaches one to be evil or to cause harm and inconvenience to others. If one realizes this fact, he would automatically understands the religions of others. Realize that no religion is better than the other. It is their own way of practice that is adapted to suit their language, people and culture.
When people start to understand other religions, they would learn about their culture, practice and tradition. When they understand their culture, practice and tradition, they would learn to communicate effectively with them. As the communication improves, there would be no racial disharmony.
